Privacy Policy

What we collect through this website, why, who sees it, and how you stay in control of it.

Who we are

Maxmoc Motor Works India Private Limited ("Maxmoc", "we", "us"), CIN U29309TZ2022PTC040070, Plot No. 9 & 10, SDF-1, 3rd Street, Madras Export Processing Zone, Tambaram, Chennai - 600045, Tamil Nadu, India. We decide why and how the personal information described here is used, which makes us the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the controller under similar laws elsewhere.

What we collect

  • Information you send us: when you use a contact, request-for-quote, call-back, service, consultation, document-request or newsletter form we receive what you enter, such as name, organisation, email, phone number, location and your message.
  • Technical information: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to run and protect the site, and we limit repeated form submissions from the same source to prevent abuse.
  • Anonymous performance data: the site measures page speed and web-vitals through Vercel Speed Insights. This does not use cookies and is not used to identify you.
  • Messages you send by email or WhatsApp, which are handled by those services under their own terms.

We do not collect payment card details, government identity numbers or sensitive personal data on this website, and we ask that you do not send them in a message.

Why we use it and our basis

  • To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and proposals, share documents you request and arrange service. Basis: you gave us the information for this purpose.
  • To send occasional product and compliance updates if you subscribe. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and meet legal and accounting obligations. Basis: uses permitted by law and our legal duties.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a few preferences in your browser so it works as you left it, and loads Google Maps only if you allow it. The full list is in our Cookie Policy, where you can also change your choice at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and handle enquiries, and only as needed for that purpose:

  • our database and form-handling provider (Supabase), which stores form submissions;
  • our hosting and delivery provider (Vercel), which serves the site and processes server logs and anonymous performance data;
  • our email delivery provider, which sends enquiry notifications and documents you request;
  • Google, only when you choose to load a map.

We may also disclose information where the law, a court or a government authority requires it.

Storage outside India

Some of these providers store or process data in other countries. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the providers offer and on the transfers that applicable law permits.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond, to follow up on any business relationship that results, and to meet legal, tax and accounting duties. When that purpose ends we delete or anonymise the information. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

How we protect it

The site is served only over HTTPS, form submissions go to a secured database with restricted access, and we apply security headers, input validation and rate limiting. No online service can promise absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You may, at any time:

  • ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to erase it;
  • withdraw a consent you have given, for example to updates, without affecting what we did before;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to;
  • make a complaint about how we handle your information.

Accounts for our business app

Employees and authorised partners who sign in to our business app at app.maxmoc.com have an account with a name, username and role. We store passwords only as salted, one-way hashes and use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. By signing in or holding an account you acknowledge that we process these details lawfully to authenticate you and keep the app secure. Signing out ends the session on our server and clears the cookie and the tab data kept for it.
